Country and region-focused groups drive our international operations

Mattos Filho has established multidisciplinary groups that focus on markets in several countries and regions for a closer, more in-depth understanding of our client culture in diverse jurisdictions. Featuring partners and lawyers with specific knowledge of local culture and business, these groups are a crucial initiative for creating and strengthening bonds with important international companies. They also bring us closer to strategic institutions, such as local chambers of commerce and associations.

With an eye on new business opportunities, in 2021 the firm reorganized its various groups to focus on different countries, allowing us to develop more sophisticated relationships with stakeholders in these locations.

Working closely with the chambers of commerce in many countries has always been part of Mattos Filho’s culture, and this continued to increase during the pandemic. In the last year, the firm has joined the board of the Brazil-Germany Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK). The firm is also part of the international chambers of other countries, such as France, the United Kingdom and the United States, and is represented by experienced professionals with sound expertise in law and international affairs.

Our dedication to working with these institutions is an important way of building lasting and trusting relationships and gives our international operations greater momentum. Subjects with significant legal repercussions are discussed in these forums, and the firm’s role is to strengthen the business and encourage social development.
